i can't reproduce this behaviour,

i tested with

* Resin-4.0.2  (direct HTTP)
* Resin-4.0.2 (Reverse Proxied Apache2 (2.2.3), mod_proxy)
* Resin-4.0.2 (Apache2 (2.2.9), mod_ssl, mod_caucho)
