Position: Product Systems Integration Engineer.
Location: Bohemia, NY
Duration: 12+Months

This Senior Product Readiness Systems Integration Engineer is expected to
have a strong foundation of Windows Server and Active Directory skills,
along with basic to intermediate technical leadership skills that enable
him or her to serve as the lead technical resource on complex systems
projects.  He or she is must have strong initiative and be able to make
meaningful contributions to the team and organization, identifying areas in
need of attention or that can be enhanced, and fulfilling those needs on
their own initiative.  The position also requires strong planning,
analytical, and problem solving skills, and the individual must possess a
structured, methodical approach to systems administration and engineering.
 He or she must be comfortable and effective when assigned projects or
tasks in new areas in which he or she has little or no prior experience.


Responsibilities:
Integration and on-site initial installations of SITA Passenger Flow
Monitoring (PFM) products worldwide.
Interface with internal technical groups regarding requirements for
integration and implementation of PFM systems.
Integrate, install, configure, and test servers, workstations, and various
components that make up PFM product solutions.
Create system build installation and configuration documentation as
necessary for PFM products.
Collaborate with airport technical representatives for requirements and
third party interfaces where applicable.
Troubleshoot technical problems and provide reports as specified by
management.
Interface with regional delivery teams as they apply to support their
ability for future PFM installations.
Provide the initial technical training to local operational teams expected
to support PFM products after cutovers.


Candidate Profile:
Advanced knowledge and experience with MS Windows Server environments.
Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Group
Policy.
Advanced knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Server 2003, 2008,
Windows XP and Windows 7 environments.
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Server 2012 and Windows 8
is a plus.
Knowledge and experience working with VMware vSphere environments.
Knowledge and experience with high availability clustering environments.
(Microsoft, Vmware, SQL)
Knowledge and experience working with high availability iSCSI SAN and NAS
environments.
Knowledge and experience working working in CISCO Network environments.
Advanced understanding of supporting protocols/technologies: TCPIP, MSMQ,
IIS, WINS, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, FTP, TELNET, SSH, VPN, Anti-Virus, WSUS etc.
Working understanding and knowledge of IP Addressing, subnetting, routing
and troubleshooting IP based protocol issues.

Knowledge of project planning/management. Individually must be able to plan
work and work the plan with general technical guidance from senior
personnel.
Strong organizational skills with ability to balance and prioritize work,
and multitask as necessary.
Demonstrated strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to travel worldwide on a regular basis. (approx. 20%)
Ability to receive airport based security clearances at airports worldwide.


Education:
BS degree in computer science or related field or equivalent.
A minimum of 8 years experience working in networked computer systems field.
MCSE (Server) certification is a plus.
