Infrastructure PM’s (2 Roles) Location: Duluth GA Duration: 6 months Candidates need to have strong experience in -managing large data center -data center consolidation and move -implementing Software as a Service (SaaS) applications -experience with application hosting environments like Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure -strong understanding of data center virtualization environments like VMWare POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: The program manager will plan, lead, and direct all aspects of key SaaS data center migration(s). Candidate must have demonstrated experience with data center selection, infrastructure selection, infrastructure procurement, infrastructure deployments, data center migrations, and data center operations. Candidate must demonstrate a strong knowledge of data center technologies and key vendors including server processors, storage, and networking. Candidate must also demonstrate a strong capability to manage multiple projects as a single program. This should include regular status updates at executive levels. Basis understanding of data center/IT security concepts and technologies is also required. A broad understanding of application technologies and application hosting within data centers is needed as well. The ideal candidate will be energetic, aggressive, and demonstrate strong and proactive ownership of the program to drive forward very rapidly.
