*BI Developer (Green Plum)*
*Location: Franklin, TN*
*Duration: +12 Months*
*Mandatory Skills: *
• This is a hands-on position that requires both technical
understanding of the DW/BI development process and solutions and strong
client facing and business communication skills.
• Demonstrated data modeling experience, including strong
relational and dimensional data model design skills
• Demonstrated management of the full lifecycle of database
development process from logical model to physical model through to
implementation and maintenance of that model in production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or
related field, a Master’s degree preferred
• 4 to 6 years’ experience in database design, data flow
definition, data modeling, and working with Oracle and Greenplum including
designing and performance tuning.
• 3 to 6 years of experience integrating data from multiple
disparate systems (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
• 3 to 6 years of experience in BI Applications,
Multi-dimensional databases
• Excellent SQL skills
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid team player with demonstrated successes in a group
environment and ability to lead technical projects in addition to being a
technical resource.
• Solid team player with demonstrated successes in a group and
the ability to work with geographically distributed teams
*Desired Skills: *
· Experience with Microstrategy, Microsoft BI (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
· Experience in PostGreSQL, Python
*Job Responsibilities: *
• Facilitate the creation of the Enterprise Data Model
• Participate in analysis and design of BI projects
• Create logical and physical data models for all BI projects
• Works with end users, and business analysts to design
