The primary role of this position is to provide technical leadership and guidance for the development and implementation of SAP systems. *Key Responsibilities:* · Develop and maintain the SAP solution architecture for the organization, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture. · Design, implement and maintain SAP systems and applications, including all components such as databases, servers, software, and hardware. · Provide technical leadership for the development of SAP solutions, including the identification and selection of appropriate technologies. · Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. · Ensure that SAP solutions meet the requirements for availability, scalability, reliability, and security. · Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP systems and applications. · Provide guidance and support to other IT staff members, including developers, administrators, and analysts. · Stay up-to-date with new SAP technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for their adoption. · Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party products and services that are needed to support the SAP environment. · Collaborate with other IT leaders to ensure that the SAP environment is integrated with other systems and applications in the organization. *Qualifications:* · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. · Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP solution design and implementation. · Strong knowledge of SAP technologies, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP Ariba, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Analytics Cloud. · Experience in SAP implementation methodologies, including ASAP, Agile, and Waterfall. · Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, IT staff, and vendors. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. · Experience in leading and managing technical teams. · *SAP certification is a plus.* · This job description provides a general overview of the duties and responsibilities required of this position.
