New issue 1642 by Karrde712: Non-intuitive error message when typoing a git repo path
http://code.google.com/p/reviewboard/issues/detail?id=1642

*NOTE: Do not post confidential information in this bug report.*

What version are you running?
ReviewBoard 1.5beta1

What's the URL of the page containing the problem?
Admin interface

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new git repository
2. Enter a nonexistent path in the Path: box

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to see "No such directory" or at least "Not a git repository".

What I actually see in the red error bar:
<django.utils.functional.__proxy__ object at 0x2af2d3efbb10>

What operating system are you using? What browser?
ReviewBoard server: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
Client: Firefox 3.6.3 on Fedora 13

Please provide any additional information below.
It was very difficult to determine what the actual error was. I only
realized by accident that I was mistyping the path.
