Hi, It's hard to really say, but there's a couple more things we can try.
It looks like the SSH verification worked. The next thing CVS checks for is whether or not it can access CVSROOT/modules in that repository. Can you try: cvs -f -d <repopath> checkout -r HEAD -p CVSROOT/modules That should give you more information on what's failing.
