We strongly recommend a modern Linux installation. Python on Windows is
full of problems.

One option is to use a virtualization solution, such as VMware Workstation,
and run a Linux VM inside of that.

Another, if you have any remote access to your Subversion server, is to use
https://rbcommons.com/.
