This behavior is due to the way we generate interdiffs. It's not a "bug," but more of side effect of the design.
There's no way to get rid of the issue. You just have to ignore those changes. We're evaluating and testing a new algorithm for 1.8, but it is not ready, and we will not be backporting it to 1.7, due to the extensive changes needed.
