IMPALA-15318: Stop impalads before clearing custom-cluster tmp dirs _impala_cluster_teardown() removed the tmp_dir_placeholders (e.g. the --lineage_event_log_dir target) while the impalads were still running. The 5s lineage flush thread then failed to open its log and, with the default abort_on_failed_lineage_event=true, aborted the daemon during teardown -- surfacing as an ASAN heap-use-after-free in CI. Gracefully shut the impalads down first whenever tmp dirs are in use.
