I think it's fine to reduce the frequency of 3.5, 4.0 and 4.1, but master and 4.x are active dev branches. Nightly check is already pretty infrequent for those branches, especially master. Reducing 4.0 and 4.1 should give us about 200k minutes which could cover 4.x nightly. The real issue is 4.x post-merge - that's almost as much as master post-merge. We should put some effort systematically to make it under the limit, rather than just running test infrequently. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
