The PR is one commit against master now, and the two shape changes since your reviews are in the comment above. @HeartSaVioR heads-up for 4.3, since this is a correction to semantics that version introduces. The flag and its gate arrived in 4.3.0 with SPARK-46367 and are unreleased, so no released version behaves the old way and no migration note is needed. Targeting master, `branch-4.x` and `branch-4.3`.
