Thanks for the follow-up. On the pinned head, ordinary non-binary-collated
XML STRING keys still go through Scala `Map.toMap`, so values such as `a` and
`A` under UTF8_LCASE remain separate and bypass `mapKeyDedupPolicy`. Please
route that path through type-aware duplicate handling and update the current
two-entry expectation.
