Thank you @dongjoon-hyun and @csviri for the quick and thorough look. Filed on the fabric8 side as requested: fabric8io/kubernetes-client#8152 (`httpclient-vertx` ignores `Config#websocketPingInterval`). It links back here. On the `Timed out waiting for [60000] milliseconds for [Pod]` stack trace: the pod that produced it has since been replaced and I no longer have the full trace, only the excerpt in the report. I will reproduce it with the stock Vert.x build and attach the full trace to the fabric8 issue. Agreed that a fix in fabric8's Vert.x client is the right place. Until it lands we are running a local build that swaps in `OkHttpClientFactory`; 24h in, the informers have not dropped a single watch on the same cluster.
