Rebased onto master at `a026a0be4c8`; the new head is `f455658f4ea`. I also updated the external-UDF test fixture for the new `workerSpec` constructor argument. The scan opt-in and minimum-estimate path are included, and constraint integration remains deferred. I replied inline with the status of the other requests. @peter-toth, for the remaining items in the review summary: findings 14 (the unused `ValuesReaderFactory` companion) and 15 (structured warning fields) are still open. Finding 16 is addressed: the testing section now includes `DataSourceV2TableSampleSuite`. All 180 focused tests and Catalyst/SQL lint checks passed on the rebased source with LZ4 temporarily pinned to `1.11.2`, since `1.12.0` was unavailable from the configured Maven repository.
