Round 7 is answered in the threads, and the description is up to date. - A kill or a fatal error now goes out wrapped in a checked `SparkException`, so `ignoreCorruptFiles` cannot read it as a corrupt file. A survivor vector that cannot grow gives splicing up instead of reaching that path. - The reader checks for a kill per row group and per chunk of phase 1. - The conf doc and the description say again that a read with no pushed data filter trusts the page index only with this feature. - Everything else is fixed as you suggested.
