I guess [release.yml][1] indicates that the script I changed here will be run from the branch and not from master, so I should probably backport this to all the active branches going back to `branch-4.0`. At this point, however, the release candidates have been cut so this will only help if/when they cut a new release candidate. @uros-b @cloud-fan @HyukjinKwon - Can you confirm whether my understanding is correct?
