Thank you for the review, @peter-toth! Here is what changed in 92519b7785f for each finding. - **1. Migration guide:** Added an entry after the SPARK-60777 ones. It also mentions a subquery in a lambda function, which keeps its error in `ALTER TABLE`. - **2. Missing table:** `ALTER TABLE` reports `TABLE_OR_VIEW_NOT_FOUND` first again, with your guard and a new test case. - **3. Parser:** Kept the checks in the analyzer. In the parser, the new error would win over a missing table, so finding 2 could not be fixed. [The reply](https://github.com/apache/spark/pull/59999#discussion_r4436785362) has the other reasons. - **4. Placement:** Moved `failIfContainsSubquery` next to `failIfCallsUserDefinedFunction`.
