I don't think we should use spark.sql.legacy.persistentCatalogFirst which is meant for PATH resolution for this DDL work. DDL goes by CURRENT_SCHEMA on purpose. I plan to fold teh config into PATH itself by allowing single part names: SYSTEM, CURRENT_CATALOG -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
