@lianhuiwang I'm not sure I follow. Why would we want to kill it if you
have < minNumExecutors. Yarn will just give you more. I understand that long
running application will have executor failures. In that case just change the
config to be very large. We could perhaps change this to be a moving window or
something in the future to better support long running applications.
