Hi @zhuoliu,
In this pull request, my proposal is specific to spark history server REST
API. This is intended for the users who use REST API directly. As you
mentioned, we can use this extended API to display filtered results on Spark
history server UI too, but this request is not intended for spark history
server UI and we can have separate Jira for the same. Let me know if you have
any questions/suggestions.
