Thanks, @jbax. Given this I think we should just have it on by default.
Some follow-up questions:
1. When will 2.2.x come out?
2. We should probably upgrade to 2.1.1 right?
3. Would it be OK if we always have this on (i.e. not having this option
exposed to users at all)?
