I checked how Hive works.
```
hive (db2)> use default;
OK
Time taken: 0.024 seconds
hive (default)> create database db2;
OK
Time taken: 0.02 seconds
hive (default)> use db2;
OK
Time taken: 0.013 seconds
hive (db2)> drop database db2;
OK
Time taken: 0.026 seconds
hive (db2)> create table t123123(col int);
FAILED: SemanticException [Error 10072]: Database does not exist: db2
```
It allows users to drop the current database but it does not switch to the
default database. Silent switch looks risky to me.
