@falaki As I found, for the failure cases, the serialization doesn't
serialize length of `NA` and only serialize `NA` as characters (String). I just
don't get the point how it is exactly serialized, because it is not serialized
by field and field type. Therefore, logic like writeDate, writeTime doesn't
kick in. It is good to learn how to debug serialization and R backend hook. I
will keep tracking this issue at spare time. Thanks for spending time reading
this.
