Before this change, is off-heap storage completely ignored in the UI? Or does the UI just lump together off-heap and on-heap? I'm wondering if most users won't care about the distinction, and it is just extra noise in the UI. It certainly would be good to expose in the API for sure. cc @CodingCat @ajbozarth @tgravescs as you often have good ideas for the UI.
