hmm, I have not notice the jira spark-2883 before. I think you can continue
based on this PR (here are some futures have not finished, such as pushdown
predictor support )and any comment is welcome:)
What you mean "introduce the dependency between sql core and hive"? Here i
have moved the orc to hive subproject to avoid pulling in hive dependency for
sql core. And actually there originally have dependency between sql core and
hive.
