@ankurdave I see. And I think it is worthy to provide a memory-based
shuffle manager in some cases, like sufficient memory resources, stringent
performance requirement, or a lot of reduce tasks with not very large data
size. Naturally, we need to provide several implementations to choose based on
[Pluggable interface for
shuffles](https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-2044). I am doing
something about this, and I need to hear your opinions.
