I agree with the current approach but wanna make sure if we want this in
2.4.0 or 3.0.0 since there's no way to keep the previous behaviour. I actually
prefer to go ahead in 3.0.0.
@gatorsmile and @cloud-fan, WDYT? I think this will likely break existing
user apps.
