Sorry if this was discussed already somewhere but we're not going to vote on it and make multiple RCs right (since it's just a preview)? It we're going to vote and make more RCs for preview, it might be best to have a separate branch. Seems like merging script issue can be easily fixed in this case. The latest branch is decided by sorting order so we can name it like `branch-preview-3.0`.
