The seminars are evaluating through different means (lectures, workshops, performances) the concept of different spaces (personal space, community space, virtual space, city space) in the age of social networking and instant broadcasting sites such as Youtube and Myspace. The organizers and lecturers alike will try to explore how these spaces are formed and perceived and how one can use new technologies to evoke positive change and benefit from them. Instead of focusing on highly specialized themes, the seminar will cover a broad range of related topics from theory of aesthetics, influence of festivals over the creative image of the city up to history of media and VJ arts. After workshops and presentations everyone has a chance to meet the musicians, VJs and artists in live chat-rooms in the Von Krahl Theatre, follow different performances and music programs.
