*Submission of video art works for the "Waterpieces 2010" International Video Art Festival has begun** *
*CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF VIDEO ART WORKS!* This year’s WATERPIECES international video and contemporary art festival will take place from 3-5 September. As usual, the festival will collate contemporary video art from Latvia, as well as presenting international video art programmes. This year, WATERPIECES will take place for the 10th time. To mark this anniversary, a showcase of the best videos in the history of the festival will be presented. Works must be submitted for the Baltic video artists’ and students' programme by 1 August. The selected works will be announced after 9 August. A video programme will be compiled from these which will be presented during the festival at the Betanovuss Gallery on AB dambis. The awards ceremony will be held on 5 September. A selection of Baltic video art works will be created from the selected works which will be sent to European and global video archives. *SUBMISSION OF WORKS FOR THE FESTIVAL COMPETITION* - Works must have been created during the past three years (no earlier than 2008) with subtitles in English or an accompanying translation of dialogue. - Up to 25 min long. - The following information about the work must be attached: title, artist, year of production, soundtrack list. - Works may be submitted on CD-ROM or DVD-ROM in the following formats: .avi, .DVavi, .mov, .mpg2, PAL, DVD. - Two high resolution images (of the work) must be attached. - A completed application form must be attached, please visit: www.noass.lv<http://www.noass.lv/noass-news/2368/into/en> . *Works to be submitted by 1 August.* *Sent by post: * "Culture and Arts Project NOASS" 11.Novembra krastmala 35 Riga, LV-1050. *Or delivered to our office:* "Betanovuss" Floating Gallery and "Noass" AB dambis 2, Riga.
