Hi, Just a quick note to let people know that the NSA has released security guidance for securely configuring a RHEL5 machine:
http://www.nsa.gov/snac/downloads_redhat.cfm?MenuID=scg10.3.1.1 Our Security Standards Team worked with them to ensure it covered as much as possible. I think this is a nice step forward for the Linux Community as a whole since it covers things generic to all distributions. But, it is specifically aimed at the options available to RHEL5 and the version of packages shipped with it. Enjoy! -Steve Grubb Security Standards Team Lead _______________________________________________ rhelv5-list mailing list [email protected] https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/rhelv5-list
