I can report the same problem via our satellite with that iptables
dependency as well as several others, including popt, cups, gtkvnc or
something on other systems (mostly x86_64 server).

The strange things is that while yum fails, last night when I tried
rhn_check with scheduled updates, it worked after a few times.

I've not tried anything against RHN hosted.
