Below is my snmpd.conf which I am trying to limit the MIB set
(.1.3.6.1.2.1.2) that a user (aifiro) can read.
[r...@vsidecar ~]# cat /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
rouser aifiro
group grro usm aifiro
view vwro included .1.3.6.1.2.1.2
access grro "" any auth prefix vwro none none
but snmpwalk shows the whole MIB set for this user.
If I change the first line to
rouser aifiro auth .1.3.6.1.2.1.2
then it will limit this user to read only .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.
My question is why setting the OID in the view does not work ?
