In Italy, recent regulation by Privacy Authority (still not clear at all) will force companies to trace all administrative accesses. Login with generic user (root/administrator) must be linked to real, personal accounts. Login/logout/wrong password attempts must be traced and archived on non-alterable media. It is not still known if these regulations will be mandatory or "normal OS tools" will be enough.
In your opinion, does Red Hat provide tools to accomodate these requests or buying specilized hw (appliance for log collecting, to distribuite root passwords on demand, etc) is needed?
