I can't find RPM for evolution under any of the 5 RHEL5 CDs.
Is this because this is server edition?
I do not have access to redhat networks to get updates.
I tried the FC6 RPM which I got from fedoraproject but it failed with
these dependancies
 gnome-pilot >= 2.0.13 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 gnome-spell >= 1.0.2 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 libgpilotd.so.2 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 libgpilotdcm.so.2 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 libgpilotdconduit.so.2 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 libgtkhtml-3.8.so.15 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 libpisock.so.8 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 libpisync.so.0 is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386
 spamassassin is needed by evolution-2.8.0-7.fc6.i386

I'm not even sure how to solve some of these dependancies, since i already
have for instance libgtkhtml-3.14 locally (downloaded from FC7 repo)

I tried to build evolution from source as well, but I had depancies I
couldn't resolve such as requirement for newer GTK+, and even compiling
the new GTK+ failed, but the issue here was in a function invoked by GTK
from the Cairo library and wasn't found, although Cairo is installed

Thanks
