The network on this system seems working fine. However, I could not register my system on to the rhn server to update the files. When I run the command "rhn_register" or "system updater" through system applications tools, I always get the error message as "We could not contact Red Hat Network (xmlrpc.rhn.redhat.com). Make sure the network connection on this system...." The error message in the "/var/log/update" is appeared as [Mon Sep 14 09:51:52 2009] rhn_register A socket error occurred: (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'), attempt #1 [Mon Sep 14 09:51:57 2009] rhn_register A socket error occurred: (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'), attempt #2 [Mon Sep 14 09:52:02 2009] rhn_register A socket error occurred: (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'), attempt #3 [Mon Sep 14 09:52:07 2009] rhn_register A socket error occurred: (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'), attempt #4 [Mon Sep 14 09:52:12 2009] rhn_register A socket error occurred: (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution'), attempt #5 [Mon Sep 14 09:52:12 2009] rhn_register Error communicating with server.
