Just a heads-up... The update for OpenIPMI included with RHEL-5.4 added
a new and completely unnecessary dependency on xinetd. (It also
mistakenly installs a file into /etc/xinetd.d/ with executable bits
set.) If you use OpenIPMI, and didn't have xinetd installed or running
before the update to 5.4, well you will afterwards. If installing and
running daemons you don't need or want is a problem for you, and you
don't think it should wait till 5.5 to be fixed, you may want to open a
support ticket with RedHat, or add to this bugreport:
