Hi all,
I am trying to install different kvm windows guests: Windows 2008 and Windows 2008
R2 (i386 and x86_64) on a RHEL 5.4 host using newly virtio drivers:
virtio-win-1.0.0-7.39539.el5.noarch. And results are: impossible.
I can't install any windows guest using these drivers (disks are configured as a
virtio disks). Then I have tried to install first on ide disk, install virtio
drivers and reboot windows guests changing disk type from ide to virtio. Result:
crash ...
And now, how can I install a windows guest using virtio drivers?? Is not
possible?? I have tried to install over iSCSI disk using virtio net driver and
install failed too. Can I use e1000 driver with Windows 2008 guests??
