Sorry for the top post. Look up 'mpt-status' and see if it fits your
needs. It requires the 'mptctl' module in RHEL which is included by
default.

You can also use the LSI MegaRaid manager from LSI directly, but it's
more of a bulky GUI and doesn't do much for me.

        Hi,
        
        I am running RHEL-v5.3 OS on a Sun Fire x4240 hardware platform.
I have mirrored 2 internal drives using the LSI logic raid card to
provide fault tolerance for OS disk in the event of single disk failure.
I want to monitor health of the mirror raid volume from OS and get
notified when one of the drive fails. I am told to look for MPT SAS
driver which I can install on the OS. I was look around to find latest
drivers for RHEL-v5.3 and did not find one. Can anyone please point me
to one?
