I would wait for the official announcement which usually means RHN is
fully populated and yum update will do the right thing.  If you jump the
gun, you might not get all of 5.5.

One interesting update in the release notes:
The recommended minimal memory requirement on x86 and x86_64 for Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 5.5 is now 1GB per logical CPU.

A logical CPU is defined as any entity that can be scheduled (i.e. every
core or thread in a multi-core or multi-thread processor is defined as a
logical CPU).
