OK... I'd join the Procrastinator's Club if I ever got around to it...
Every year about this time I install and run Turbotax in a WinXP guest
virtual machine in VMware Server 2.0 hosted under RHEL5.x Server. This
year I've run into a wee bit of a problem. This year when I run the
vmware launcher I get the following error message in Firefox:
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at
127.0.0.1:8333.
where 8333 is configured with vmware-config.pl to be the port for HTTPS
access. SELinux is disabled.
This worked fine last year and the year before. Anybody got any ideas
what's gone wrong in the last 12 months?
