Hi Folks,

I have Sun Fire-x4240 server running RHEL-v5.3 OS (Kernel rev 2.6.18-128.el5).
It has 2 dual ported Qlogic cards (QLE2462 FW:v4.04.05) installed and using 1
port on each HBA, has EMC storage attached to it. We are seeing below shown
Qlogic messages in /var/log/messages at a specific time everyday.

May 20 02:00:11 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.0: Passthru CT response
is not available.
May 20 02:00:11 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.0: Passthru ELS response
is not available.
May 20 02:00:12 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.1: Passthru CT response
is not available.
May 20 02:00:12 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.1: Passthru ELS response
is not available.
May 21 02:00:23 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.0: Passthru CT response
is not available.
May 21 02:00:23 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.0: Passthru ELS response
is not available.
May 21 02:00:23 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.1: Passthru CT response
is not available.
May 21 02:00:23 <hostname> kernel: qla2xxx 0000:03:00.1: Passthru ELS response
is not available.

Just wondering if this is sign of any issue that needs to be fixed or the
messages can be safely ignored.

Appreciate any and every help from everyone regarding this.

Thank you,
AN
