Red Hat Knowledgebase (KB) article DOC-5024 is a good starter: http://kbase.redhat.com/faq/docs/DOC-5024 You can create a Red Hat Network (RHN) login if you don't already have one. Red Hat customer service can help you locate any existing account number if you don't have it handy (from e-mail address, PO number, etc...), when setting up your login with subscriptions. If you don't already have an existing login / account, you'll need an entitlement or other subscription number to associate with your account so you can get updates. E.g., if you bought a system pre-installed with RHEL, you should have an included registration card with that information. Red Hat can also offer 30-day trial subscriptions which include 30-days of access to RHN for updates, if you have not purchased a subscription or received an entitlement. Alternatively, there is the "portfolio edition" of Red Hat developer subscriptions if this is for non-production, development, educational or other "development" uses where support/service level agreements (SLAs) are not required for $99/year. It includes both the full platform (RHEL) and middleware (JBoss) stack: https://www.redhat.com/apps/store/developers/jboss_developer_studio.html -- Bryan J Smith Professional, Technical Annoyance Linked Profile: http://www.linkedin.com/in/bjsmith ------------------------------------------------------------ "Now if you own an automatic ... sell it!
