Yes, I know. We need this support on RHEL 5.5 and are talking to our RH rep about professional services to backport drivers if necessary (if this ends up even being a realistic thing to do). I'm not sure yet what kernel modules are required, but I see work has been done via the ENAC project for Dell xt2 style panels...
