Hi,

recently I had to reinstall our main fileserver and doing that I added
some iSCSI devices like for other servers.

Red Hat EL 5.5 all latest updates, x86_64, SUN Storage 7110.

But I did notice some problems, e.g. that quotacheck fails (freezes) on
shutdown.

Because that server is our productive system, I cant try a lot of things
like switching it of and on again (BTW: I love The IT Crowd ;) )

Than I noticed, that shuting down the server first switches of the
network and than unmounts filesystems.

Like described in a red hat bugzilla record:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=583218

By furthor investigation I noticed to, that the mountoption '_netdev'
was missing.

Can anybody comment on that?

Thanks a lot and best regards ...
                                ... Götz
