Hello,

            I think both are showing the correct values... what exactly
seems off to you? You have got some cca 85 MB really "free" memory and
the 8352 MB is FREE + BUFFERS + CACHE - because the OS can drop
caches/buffers and make more free memory. The rest is really being used
by processes.

gap(8352MB vs ~5GB) between the output of top and free , like the
