Not really, that bit of code simply does the verification but doesn't
really tell you why it failed.

Not being able to connect is just a valid as the wrong system time as
far as a 'failed verification'.

That said, the could increase the points at which they do error
checking and try to break it down more. Probably one big "try:
except:' block.
