So how does it work if the source code is GPL'd but another company owns 
patents for functionality in said code? Can an open source license be 
retroactively changed? As an aside, I really don't like oracle and this just 
serves to fuel that fire. They've rubbed many people raw, including myself, 
with their actions since the sun acquisition.
