I figured there might be some ABI/API issues for select ISV software between OpenJDK 1.6.0 and Oracle-Sun JDK 1.6.0. Allegedly 1.7.0 is finally designed so they are the same base. We'll see.

I don't know the gory details, but I know we tried several things and it just doesn't work (this is also mentioned in the JasperServer forums).
